Hip-hop aint dead ya’ll just rocking to the wrong artist…go outside of the box for a week and experience some different types of artist you may be very surprised at  what you hear.

Mainstream hip-hop is only a small piece of the pie, there are millions of artist out there to experience so take the time to listen to the artist from your local city that tags you in his or her music, you might be looking over exactly what you have been waiting for all along.

It’s not going to kill you to give them 3 minutes of your time that’s all we are asking for is a couple of minutes of your time to get our message across without your support we are doing this for nothing so the next time you receive a tag from an independent artist or somebody you know give them a couple minutes of your time…REMEMBER…”SUPPORT STARTS WITH YOU”!!!!!!

“Wise Words From A King”

It really amazes this writer to see how many people in the world are focused on another persons life and what they are doing. I mean really your personal life must be really boring and meaningless for you to sit around and assume anything about another human being,me personally I have to much going on in my life to sit around and ponder about another persons hopes, dreams and aspirations.

We live in a world full of dreams so why just settle on one
because someone else only has one, go for the gold in any and everything you set your minds eye on. There will be people that will talk down on you for no reason at all, well maybe one reason and that’s because they really admire your drive and wish that they could do what you do. Instead of people congratulating others they want to focus on tearing others down the first chance they get.

Watch out for friends in disguise that seem to send you well wish but are secretly waiting on your down fall. I have seen it happen time and time again in my time on this planet, so don’t fret when somebody speaks down to you just remember these words of encouragement “YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR HEART TO IF YOU ONLY BELIEVE IN YOU”.

BIO:

Once in a blue moon the universe blesses the world of hop-hop with a much needed and gifted presence. Brandon Luster A.K.A Kupid V. DaArchitect is the pure definition of such a rare blessing. Kupid V. (his name is an acronym which means……Knowledge Under Pressure Is Dominant. He believe if your K.U.P.I.D. then it will lead you to the “V” which stands for victory) was born in Greenville, S.C on Febuary 23, 1985 to a very musically inclined family. His father was a singer and musician who always had a young K.V in the family studio with him as an infant. It was evident that a young K.V. would soon follow suit being blessed with the family gift. At the tender age of 9 K.V. wrote his first rhyme being inspired by the likes of artist like Kool G Rap, Nas, Tupac, Biggie, Wu-Tang, Outkast and many more. Growing up as a child he was into more of the complex lyricism than the more simple energetic crunk sound that a majority of his region produced. He often had to defend himself against other kids in the neighborhood because he’d rather quote lines from artist like Ras Kass and Killah Pries rather than Master P or Pastor Troy. He was clearly ahead of his peers to the point they labeled him weird and uncanny. Being a fan of metaphors and similes K.V. started writing songs and joining cyphers and battles to master his skills. His hard hitting puchlines and seemingly effortless perfect delivery made him stand out amungst the other artist around his city. He dropped out of school as a teen to join a label formed by a local neighborhood hustler. in between street hustling and recording music for his new label he seen his life going nowhere fast. After 2 failed group mixtapes for the label he decided to fall back and focus on the hustle even more. Getting caught up in the streets as a majority of young black males do he got unfocused and undetermined musically and now with a family of his own to feed music wasn’t paying the bills. While under investigation for a alleged robbery K.V. re-united with some childhood friends who were now pursuing the same goals of a music career. Being around this positive collection of friends gave him his passion and focus back more than he ever had it before. Now he is president of 3Kingz Entertainment and Co-ceo of 3Vision Media, a media company headed by himself and longtime friend Donnie Heard A.K.A. Dirrty Sco. Now on the heels of releasing his debut solo project to the world Kupid V. DaArchitect is by far guaranteed to leave a unique mark on this game.

When you are focused on a vision that people on the outside can’t see their opinions that are not constructive and are supposed to be destructive…I say use them as fire to fuel the flame of your desires and DREAMS.

You have to stay focused on your path to where ever you are headed there will be bumps in the road along the way but it will all be worth it in the end so keep your head to the sky and never mind what people have to say about you.

“Words Of Wisdom From A King”

NFL.com Blogs

There is a lot to say about the outcome of the “Monday Night Football” game. Most of it has to do with the refs. People have been asking my opinion all day, and it can be summed up like this: This whole thing kinda sucks. That’s … kinda all I got.

With the refs and their union talking for the fourth straight day, maybe something will work itself out. Hopefully. Would be tough to go through another week like this. So, plenty more to say, but with the NFL’s statement, one thing is clear: The game is over.

We’ll still talk about it — on NFL.com we now have more than 25 (and growing) headlines, videos or links directly or indirectly related to Seahawks 14(ish), Packers 12 — but nothing is changing about the result. So, let’s start the process of turning the page and begin to think about…

Is Hip-Hop Dead?

Is Hip-Hop dead? That’s a question I hear alot and along with that I also hear that “soulja boy, Gucci man, future, lil b etc….” are responsible. I used to agree with that statement until I really sat back and thought about it harder. You can not blame the artist in the game for trying to eat just like the rest of us underground artist looking for their big break, but you can blame technology first and foremost for making the tools to create and share music so easily available to the public. 15 or 20 years ago Hip-Hop was in a whole different state, not to say that the artist back then where way better than today’s picks (which they where by a long shot…lol) but they had to go to big budget studios and programs like (Fruity Loops & Protools) didn’t even exist, the Internet was still in it’s infant stages so as you know we didn’t have sites like Facebook,Twitter,YouTube and the new comer Soundcloud.com to take a song from idea to being spread all across the globe in a matter of hours. In today’s music scene we artist have to constantly try to find new ways to get exposure on the now booming Internet market with so many different types of artist out here doing the same things.

Back in 1990 if you wanted to hear from or see your favorite artist you had to either go to a concert, buy all their music or simply stalk them (Which I don’t suggest). Now flash forward to 2012 where you can buy a beat off soundclick go to a friends house and get a decent recording done throw it in a pirated version of Sony Vegas and make a quick video then post it on all the major social sites and flood your followers time lines to the point where they start to look over quality music from struggling artist and head straight for a song or video that is more popular due to either it truly being better music or somebody abusing technology by paying for a ton of views to gain exposure, “I’m not casting any judgments” get it how you live, I am just stating the facts that in today’s world hip-hop has evolved from the days of a DJ and a turntable to some sort of digital beast(lol).

With a little bit of computer knowledge and alot of time on your hands you can still earn a good living in today’s market by targeting smaller sites and social networks first then relying on the major sites such as Facebook,Twitter and so forth. I’m not going to guarantee you over night or next week success but I will leave you with this “Hip-Hop is not dead per to say it is just more transparent than it used to be” so keep grinding hard at what ever you are doing and with the right team, work ethic and of course capital you will soar to heights you never dreamed of before.
